REGISTRATION is OPEN! Join our Youth Studio Program at Clawson Clay Guild, where kids will engage in hand-building, pottery wheel techniques, and pottery glazing. The classes incorporate exciting projects that explore clay's cultural significance. Mystical Creatures Summer Camp
Cost: $195 per session
Time: 2 sessions are offered at the following times:
SESSION 1: June 23- June 27 / 10 am - 1pm
SESSION 2: July 28- Aug 1 / 10 am - 1pm
Requirements: 6-11 years old. Min/Max Enrollment: 4/10 students.
Description: In this whimsical week of clay and creativity, kids will build their own fairy tale world from scratch-literally! From magical cups and mysterious creatures to wearable clay jewelry and royal crowns, each project brings our collective story to life. Daily drawing and storytelling activities will culminate in a performance and a handmade storybook to keep.
Bring: a water bottle, snack, apron or old shirt and your brightest imagination!

Claycraft After School
Cost: $120
Time: The classes will take place on the following days/times and run weekly after labor day and ending the week before Thanksgiving. Each class will last about 90 minutes.
Claycraft 1: Wednesdays, 4:30pm-6:00pm
Claycraft 2: Thursdays, 4:30pm-6:00pm
Requirements: 6-11 years old. Min/Max Enrollment: 4/10 students.
Description: Students will be exploring the following:
Cultural Exploration: Our projects are thoughtfully designed to connect clay art with various cultures from around the world. Through these projects, children will learn about diverse traditions and artistic expressions while appreciating the universality of clay as a medium of artistic communication.
Individualized Instruction: With a low student-to-instructor ratio, each person receives personalized attention and guidance. We celebrate the uniqueness of every young artist and encourage them to explore their own creative path.
Fun and Inclusive Environment: The Clawson Clay Guild studio is a safe and welcoming space where kids can freely express themselves, make new friends, and build lasting memories.

What are the pick up and drop off times?
Please arrive between 4:15pm and 4:30pm. Departure time is 6:00pm - 6:15pm. If your child is arriving or departing with other students or under the care of another adult, please be sure to include their information on the permission form for adults allowed to pick up and drop off children.
What should kids bring?
Please bring a hand-towel and a water bottle. Please do not include snacks with nuts. Some children have severe allergies and you can help prevent health issues by selecting alternatives for your child’s lunch.
